At his core, Jack is a story teller. As an award winning journalist and correspondent, he has chased stories around the world. He is a former CIA Special Agent and Field Operations Officer as well as a former prosecuting attorney and columnist.
Jack works as a journalist and talk show host worldwide. Jack covers policy, politics, national and international affairs.

Jack has print experience as well. He used to be on the editorial board of a newspaper. Inaddtion, he is also a frequent contributor to NBC Nightly News, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News Channel, and other media outlets around the country. As if that weren’t enough, he writes frequently for newspapers and magazines.
According to Talkers Magazine, Jack has been named the 34th most important radio broadcaster in America for 2008. In 2008, Talkers ranked Jack as the 34thmostimportantradio broadcaster in America. In 2007, he was 44th. In 2006, Talkers named him the 88thmostimportantradio broadcaster in America. He was also nominated in 2007 for a Peabody Award for his work in Iraq. In 2007, Talkers named him the 34th most inporttant talk show host in America. Finally, in 2010, Jack was honored with a national Freedom of Speech Award.
Rice has a bachelor’s degree in history from San Diego State University. He also graduated from the University of
Minnesota Law School. He and his wife Marlo live in Bethesda, MD with their four daughters.

Jack has traveled extensively with his show, taking listeners, through the magic of radio, to places around the world including Afghanistan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Israel and Palestine and UN Headquarters. While in Iraq, Jack hung around American soldiers and Iraqis to bring listeners human stories they couldn’t find elsewhere. He was also recently at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to focus on detainees and the war on terror. While in Mississippi, he went down to Camp Shelby for Minnesota National Guard’s largest deployment since World War II. In addition, he also went to the Gulf to visit with Hurricane Katrina survivors who are still trying to survive a year later; Jack has broadcast shows from both the White House and from just off the Senate floor on Capitol Hill and has plans to take the show to many more venues in the future.
