GOP Takes NJ, VA, Upstate NY? So What! @airamerica.com

Republicans will try to argue that these three races represent a complete rejection of President Obama.  They could not be more wrong.  Here are statistics.  These are facts and they can't be denied.

FACT:

The party that won the White House lost the Virginia governor's race for the last 32 years.  Since President Obama (D) took the White House, it would only make sense that VA would go Republican.

FACT:

The party that won the White House last the New Jersey governor's race for the last two decades.  Since President Obama (D) took the White House, it only makes sense the NJ would go Republican.

FACT:

The 23rd Congressional District of New York has gone Republican for the last 100 years.  It is a Republican seat as much as almost any in the country.

So, to claim that these races represent a repudiation of President Obama is to ignore history, trends, how people vote, why people vote and, yes, facts.
