Criminal Defense Attorney, Former CIA Officer, Media Analyst and Public Speaker 

Jack Rice practices exclusively in the areas of criminal defense and DWI/DUI defense.  He is unique across the entire state of Minnesota and the U.S. as the only criminal defense attorney who is also a former Central Intelligence Agency Officer as well as a former prosecuting attorney. Jack's extensive experience, aggressiveness and passion speak for themselves and he is most proud of his reputation as a fighter for the rights of his clients. U.S. House Passes Abortion Amendment to Health Insurance Reform.

As a critical piece of the health insurance reform bill, the House of Representatives passes the abortion amendment to the health insurance reform bill.  This amendment would insure that no federal funding would be provided for abortions.  This piece is necessary in order to acquire 218 votes necessary to pass the this legislation.

With the the passage of this amendment, is appears that the bill is all but assured to pass.  We are watching.
