[KMSP Channel 9 Appearance] September 19th: Jack Talks Criminal Law, Bail and Iranian Detainees

I appear on KMSP Channel 9 on September 19th.   Two American hikers may be on the verge of release is Iran. However, bail seems to be set at 500,000 each. So, how does bail work in these cases.  I will compare and contrast how and why bail is normally set in American courtrooms and then talk about how things have been done in the past with the Iranians.  It is an entirely different game.  As a former CIA Officer and a practicing criminal defense attorney, I certainly have some strong ideas.

Hope you can watch.
