I appear on CNN on Monday, March 8th. It seems that President Obama has changed his mind regarding where Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be charged. He originally stated that he would be charged in a civilian courtroom. Now, after pressure from Republicans and some members of his own party, he has caved and may move KSM to a military tribunal. Is this a good idea? I will talk about the ramifications.

It appears that President Obama may have decided to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a military tribunal rather than in a civilian courtroom. This is a huge mistake. This should be interesting as I pound on this President for being almost as bad as the last one on this issue.

I appear at the ACLU's Reckoning with Torture event on Wednesday, March 3rd at 7 p.m. e.t. at Georgetown Law School. At the event, we will look at the torture that the U.S. conducted against detainees since 9/11. The ACLU did a similar event in NYC some months ago in which I was also involved. This should be interesting.
