Reports are coming out that CIA officers may have misled Congress since 2001.  If this is true, how ugly can this get?  Jack will appear on MSNBC tomorrow to talk about the ramifications.  Watch him on The Ed Schultz Show and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. 

Jack appears on MSNBC on Thursday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to noon to discuss national security and foreign policy.  President Obama and former Vice President Cheney will both be speaking to America about the direction the US will or should take.  Jack analyzes both stances.

As the question of who knew what and when, people are wondering exactly how accurately the CIA keeps records.  Apparently, multiple problems have already arisen.  Will we ever find out the truth?

The Pelosi story continues to grab the attention.  What did she know regarding torture and does it even matter. I'm appearing on KNX 1070 out of Los Angeles to talk about the implications.  Growing up in Southern California, it is kind of strange because I am actually incapable of saying KNX 1070 without humming the jingle that finished with "News Radio."

Very strange.  Normally when I make appearances on TV, there is this elaborate process of travel, security, make-up, sets, etc.  You almost come to accept it.  However, today on MSNBC, a truly new experience.

This morning, I was interviewed by Alex Witt, an MSNBC anchor.  While she has interviewed me literally dozens of times, this time was completely different because I did it using Skype.  Yes, the very same Skype that we all use to talk to friends and family.  I've used it around the globe and it is pretty slick.  However, I have never used it under these circumstances.

My Macbook has a built in camera and mic.  And while the image it creates is not the best quality, it appears somewhat distorted, and the audio quality is not the best, it will do in a pinch.  And the fact that I can do it from my own couch is also very . . . . different.

As I have time, I will set up a proper lapel mic that should sound substantially better.  Nevertheless, technology is an extraordinary this.

I'm curious if I can do this from Iraq in a couple of months.  This is going to be interesting.
